Mario World 2 Yoshis Island
Super Mario World 2 Yoshis Island plays differently than any other Mario game. You play as Yoshi and are basically invincible (lava and pits will still kill you but enemies will not) but you must protect Baby Mario at all costs. If you get hit, Baby Mario floats away and you have 10 seconds to save him or else you die. This game never reached the levels of popularity as Super Mario World but it was widely acclaimed nonetheless.
